What is a Fiber Optic Distribution Box?

Internal Structure of a Fiber Optic Distribution Box
The function of the fiber optic distribution box is mainly to protect and split the fiber. Then its structure is divided into four parts:

3. Fiber Splitter Disks: Some fiber splitter disks can be found in some versions, and a few are not because this only acts as a fixture and makes it more convenient and compact when installing splitters and pigtails. It is possible to observe several shapes of this fiber supply menu and combine splice trays in various fiber management boxes. Besides, the function is the same, and it's only the result of continuous improvement to generate fiber fusion and cabling more suitable for technical applications.
4. Outlet: The number of outlets can determine the basic model of a fiber optic distribution box. For example, with 8 outlets, it is an 8-core distribution box, and the outlet is much smaller than the inlet port.

According to the capacity, the fiber optic distribution box can be 1/2/4/ 6 /8 /12/16/ 24/32/48 core, etc. According to the installation method, the fiber optic distribution box can be wall-mounted or pole-mounted.
