Pen-design Visual Fault Locators
SUN Telecom’s Pen-design Visual Fault Locator, pen-size and light, outputs the visible red laser, and can be used for locating optical broken point which OTDR can’t find and area of high loss caused by bending. It is suitable for both single mode and multimode fiber.

SUN Telecom's SUN-VFL255-H Series Handheld Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is designed for troubleshooting of both single mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables. The light emitted from the VFL is easy to escape from the micro-bending, cuttings or breaks through the jacketed fibers, as well as poorly mated connectors. What's more, this Visual Fault Locator is an excellent complement of OTDR; it is easily to detect faults that OTDR is not able to.
